Collins Law Firm concentrates in personal injury and criminal defense matters.  However, we are available to assist clients in a variety of other types of matters — primarily dispute related matters which potentially involve civil litigation.  Collins Law Firm is comprised of the staff of David B. Collins, Jr., P.C. and other law firms with which we represent clients by association.

We offer free confidential consultations for most personal injury matters — either on the phone or in person.  Personal injury matters are usually handled on a contingency basis.  This means that we only collect a fee if we recover money for our client and we charge no fee unless we recover money.

We offer free confidential telephone consultations for minor traffic matters.  For most criminal matters, we offer free confidential telephone consultations.  For an in-person meeting with Mr. Collins, we charge a reduced consultation fee which will be applied to the retainer if we are retained at the initial consultation.  Most criminal and traffic matters are handled on a flat fee basis which is confirmed in writing before representation begins.

For initial consultations regarding general civil matters, we charge a consultation fee at the current hourly rate for one half an hour.  It is the purpose of the initial consultation to determine what Collins Law Firm may be able to do for the client and what the fee will be.
